Re-Review: Paldo Kokomen Spicy Chicken Flavor King Cup

Here’s the original review. It’s cold today so I thought it sounded good. I figure I should mention – there will be some new reviews very soon! I am working on a huge project that’s been taking so much time. A hint – it has to do with upgrading this blog! I’ve been editing every post and image. A lot of work let me tell you! It will definitely be worth it in the end!

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added kamaboko, stir fry vegetables, an egg, sweet onion and processed cheese. Awesome – just as good as last time – 4.75 out of 4.0 stars! UPC bar code 648436100705 .

#927: Paldo Kokomen Spicy Chicken Flavor King Cup

Here’s some more Kokomen – this is the one sold in the USA! It’s a really rainy day today and some spicy chicken noodles sound really tasty! Let’s hit it!

The side panels (click image to enlarge). Note the address on the lower left – these must be Gangnam style!

The noodle block.

The powder seasoning packet.

Ahhh – Jalapeno and chicken powder! Smells great!

Those little white strips? Dehydrated chicken!

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added sliced turkey breast (how fitting for this week), sweet onion, Krazy Mixed Up Salt and Urashima Sesame & Salt furikake. The noodles are really good, although I think the pack variety’s offering is a little better. The broth is wonderful – a nice jalapeno chicken flavor. The veggies are nice and the little bits of chicken are neat to see. I love this stuff – jalapeno chicken noodle soup is right up my alley! Just like the Kko Kko Myun King Cup from Korea, I give it 4.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 648436100705 .

Re-Review: Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo King Cup Kimchi Pot Stew Instant Noodle

Hey rad – a big cup of kimchi noodles! I’m a big fan of kimchi these days and hoping this is just what the doctor ordered today!

Side panels.

A nice looking noodle block.

Powder seasoning.

Lots of the red stuff!

Lots of veggies in the bottom.

I’m sure Korean folks who see this will say big deal, especially since these exist! But recently we got the big jar of kimchi! It takes up a lot of our fridge – and it’s worth it!

Finished. Added some kimchi and some roast beef with a touch of Krazy Mixed Up Salt. The noodles are of that nice soft and buttery type – I must say that in the varieties so far, it sure seems like Paldo varies the types of noodles it puts in its products quite a bit. The broth is great – salty, spicy and has that nice flavor of kimchi. The veggies are great too – re-hydrated very well. This is a great bowl of noodles! 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 648436100385 – get it here.

#658: Paldo Hwa King Cup Noodle Soup

Hey look! Mega-enormous Korean noodle bowl! Found this one at H Mart in Lynnwood, WA. Had the pack and the cup – now we’ll find out Hwa-ssup with this enormous King Cup! Yes we will. Yes.

Here’s all the info you could possibly want to know.

A single packet of powder seasoning – feels heavy.

Holy moly – yep, that’s a big mound of red, alien combating powder!

I went for it; I let the noodles steep in the cup for two minutes and then stirred them and added an egg right smack in the middle and re-covered. Added some Ajishima Kimchi furikake, baby bok choy and a couple squirts of Texas Pete hot sauce. Noodles are pretty good – a little soft. The broth is the highlight here – red spicy heat! The veggies were here and there – decent amount. If you’re looking for a spicy noodle, this is the one, especially if you like Korean noodles. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC barcode 648436100620 – here’s the pack version.

This is a really cool video – and this guy in the beginning is really relaxed.

This is kind of interesting.
