#628: Lucky Me! Supreme La Paz Batchoy Artificial Beef Garlic Flavor Instant Noodles

Haven’t had any Lucky Me! in quite some time. This is a smaller version of the Lucky Me! La Paz Batchoy I’ve had before. Let give this one a renewed and smaller look!

Was a pain to get this shot of the panel to come out – best I could get.

Clockwise from the top, we have the powdered seasoning, a fork, some little fake beef bits and the seasoned oil packet.

Here’s everything waiting for the boiling water and a few minutes under a plate.

Finished. This is so much different than what I’ve been having lately. The noodles are kind of soggy and didn’t really soak up too much flavoring. The broth is full of garlic beef flavor – and the little beef bits are like TVP but different – more like foam. It weird though because it all works very well together It’s good. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC code is 4807770271168 – get it here.

A TV spot for Lucky Me! La Paz Batchoy.

Compared to the vid, it looks kinda like it!

#397: Quickchow Quickie Cup Mami La Paz Batchoy

Something new – a cup noodle from the Philippines!

Two packets – dry seasoning on the left and a seasoned oil on the right.

The dry seasoning was kinda clumpy but that’s normal. The noodles had a neat look to them I don’t usually see.

Finished product. The broth was interesting; like a chicken soup broth but only pork. The noodles were also like what you’d expect in a can of chicken soup, only this is a pork flavor. Not bad. 3.0 out of 5.0 stars.

#310: Lucky Me! Instant La Paz Batchoy (La Paz Style) Instant Noodles Artificial Beef Flavor

So some new Lucky Me! stuff here… More beef! Bring on the beef!

From left to right: a packet of soup base, a packet with seasoned oil on top and some crunchy greasy stuff below and a packet of weird rehydratable chewy thingies.

Doesn’t that look nice? Added 400cc water and 2 fried eggs at the end and got…

This. The noodles are okay – not great. The seasoning left me wanting more; the broth was not very interesting and the veggies were just kind of mushy. It was interesting but it kind of lacked a little in the veg department. But then again it wasn’t spicy either. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. Get it by the cup here.
