#856: Little Cook Mushroom Vegetarian Premium Noodle

Here’s another onbe sent by Michelle L. of New York – thanks! This is made in Thailand and says it’s mushroom flavor. Well, let’s give it a go.

Interesting – not just powder but some bits in there too.

Finished. Added onion, broccoli, red bell pepper and Huy Fong Sriracha chili sauce. The noodles are broad and flat. Pretty good – unique for a big bowl of noodles to find noodles like these, but Little Cook’s noodles are usually unique to begin with. The broth tastes like mushrooms and has a little greasiness to it. Now if you look at the center area of the above picture, you’ll see a lot of squid-like pieces and peanuts and mushrooms. These are the retort pouch contents. I am going to say that to my extreme surprise, this is probably one of the best retort pouches ever – it was good and tasty!
