#905: Tradition Vegetable Flavor Instant Noodle Soup

Not sure, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a green cup of noodles. Oh wait – I think the Mushroom & Chicken Pot Noodles was green… anyways, here’s a green colored, Kosher cup noodle by Tradition.

Side panels (click to enlarge).

The instructional lid.

The noodle block. Has seasoning infused.

Some veggies poking around at the bottom.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added stir-fry veggies and Urashima Sesame & Salt furikake. The noodles are pretty darn good – very light and soft. The broth has an interesting vegetable medley kind of taste to it. If you’re looking for something groundbreaking here, you won’t find it – however you will find an a-ok comfortable cup noodle. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 735375603258

I was thinking, what would be a good video for these noodles. Look what I found on YouTube – This is awesome!

Here’s some music for ya – Medeski Martin & Wood.

#859: Tradition Instant Noodle Soup Imitation Chicken Flavor

It’s been a while since I reviewed a Kosher instant noodle! Usually they’re pretty good. Let’s give this a try. By the way Kosher instant noodle company: I think Matzo Ball Ramen would be an extremely huge hit.

Here’s the lid – click to enlarge.

Here’s the noodle block – pre-seasoned.

This is what was underneath the noodle block.

Finished. The noodles have a nice light and buttery ‘comfort texture’ that I would say is common is instants marketed towards the US market. The broth is nice and ‘comfortty’ too! Has a good chicken taste and not very salty – it’s calm. The vegetables? Not too bad – I liked the corn and carrot. This was pretty good and I liked it! 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 735375601254 – here’s the bag version.

This is a really good video about what Kosher foods are and what the symbols on different packages mean. The noodles I tried today even have a quick appearance!

I was really hoping to post a documentary that used to be on youTube called “Postville: When Cultures Collide” – if you can find it, it’s a really fascinating story – but here’s a little story about a book about Postville, Iowa. Here’s a Wiki link.

#515: Tradition Instant Noodle Soup Imitation Beef Flavor

Here’s some more kosher aisle ramen. This stuff was previously purchased but never reviewed. Why?

Their old package design didn’t work too great and the lids were open – at least on all of the ones that were at our local grocery store. I never ate it because of that fact. But now they’re got a better technique to these little beef cups, so I’ll review this stuff now.

The vegetables and seasonings are infused with the noodle block – just like domestic Nissin or Maruchan cup noodle varieties. Now some boiling water and…

Voila. So for a cup noodle, the noodles themselves aren’t bad at all. The flavor of the broth though is kind of bland. Further, the vegetables are kind of squishy. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. Try them here.

“Postville: When Cultures Collide” – a really interesting documentary.

Bacon explosion!

#308: Tradition Imitation Chicken Flavor Vegetarian Ramen Noodle Soup

Here’s something new – was blown away that I hadn’t noticed it before. This is kosher ramen! It’s made in Canada for a company in Los Angeles called Tradition…

A stamped number on the foil but other than that no identifying characteristics…

Yellow imitation vegetarian flavoring!

So I added two eggs while the noodles were boiling. So this reminds me of Nissin Top Ramen but with a less salty flavoring. Not bad – it’s very nice. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. Would be nice to see some veggies. Get it here.

So nothing on YouTube fitting this so I went with dudes showing you how to make top ramen and mispronouncing it. Peace.
