#763: Maggi 2-Minute Noodles Tricky Tomato

This is something that’s also been at the bottom of the noodle hamper for a while.

Some interesting little things on here. The teacups reference is nice, and interesting is the break into 4 pieces. I’m glad I keep my food in a hygienic place.

Yes, it will be broken into four pieces.

The seasoning packet.

Very tomato-like.

Finished. The noodles are pretty good – lots of them and kind of a mushiness to them that’s different. Not a bad mushiness though. The broth is full of tomato flavor and almost a slight spiciness to them. Not bad – 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 8901058134292 – get it here.

Looks like Pizza Hut’s a little different in India!

#616: Maggi Thrillin’ Curry 2 Minute Noodles

Here’s one that was at the bottom of the ramen hamper so needed immediate attention today. Curry is one of my favorite flavors! I hope this is good stuff!

Here’s the back of the packaging.

The singl packet of flavoring. Feels full!

A fried noodle block. These noodles look kind of wide gauge.

Smells pretty good – proof is in the finished product. It calls for 225mL of water and then add the block and seasoning. That’s a very small amount of water…

Finished. Well, this isn’t what I was hoping for by any stretch of the imagination, unfortunately. The noodles were squishy and limp. The seasoning seemed a little artificial to me – the curry flavor was strong but had a finish to it I didn’t enjoy much at all. Disappointing. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars. Find it here.

#574: Maggi Tricky Tomato 2 Minute Noodles

ricky tomato? Well, it shouldn’t be too tricky to make from the looks of the directions.

Instant noodles from India! Mmmm coriander!

A single packet. I like the graphics on every inch of this packaging.

A very strong tomato smell came from this mound of seasoning…

Finished with a couple eggs. I added a little Krazy Mixed Up Salt too.  So the noodles were standard instant noodles. The flavor was nice – not over salty; in fact, that Mixed Up Salt really helped. Had a rich and deep tomato flavor. Good stuff! 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. Get it here.

Short about instant noodle factory in Brazil.

More random home movies of Thanksgiving – always random people I don’t know…

#273: Wai Wai Minced Pork Tom Yum Flavor

So here’s some Wai Wai noodles. Let’s see how they are! One thing I should mention first is that it’s a little smaller than most packages of noodles and only calls for 300cc of water.

Two packets of flavor – seasoned oil on the left and powder base on the right.

Noodle block with base and oil poured over. Added 300cc’s of water and covered for a couple few minutes.

Here’s the reult. A little spicy, a bit lemonny…. Pork flavor? Kind of ish I suppose. The noodles were good and the little veggies were interesting. The broth was nice. I’m going to give this one 2.5 out of 5.0 stars.

This  ommercial is excellent – showing people eating the noodles in their prepared form and also as a crunchy snack. Wai Wai is a Nepalese company that manufactures in India.

#196: Nissin Cup Noodles Pani Puri

So something from India eh? The last Cup Noodles from India was a little funky I thought – let’s see how this one tastes…

Well, you can’t see them but there are some brownish pean shaped items in here. It’s a little spicy – a little lemon flavor… Well, I don’t really like the noodles nor the broth nor the veggies. I’m sad to say so as I like Nissin’s stuff and Indian food is my favorite! I’m giving this one a 1.5 out of 5.0 stars.
