#829: Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo Kko Kko Myun King Cup

In the US, it’s Kokomen, in Korea it’s Kko Kko Myun! They also have not only the package variety, but also in a King Cup! Let’s see if it’s as good as the package version.

Side panel details.

The noodle block – not as many as the package verion but they have a very nice color.

Seasoning powder.

Lots of the light color powder.

The veggies are included in the bottom of the cup.

Finished. Added some onion, hard boiled egg  and a little baked chicken with some Krazy Mixed Up Salt. Noodles are slightly less resilient as those in the regular package – slightly. The broth is excellent – that great jalapeno and chicken flavor hits hard and tasty! The veggies are good too – nice when slurping the soup! Good stuff! 4.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 8801128510004 – get the package version here.

Re-Review: Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo Teumsae Ramyun

I saw a YouTube video recently where a man is trying to handle the heat of this instant ramyun. He couldn’t – to the point of cursing these noodles. Another reason that Paldo’s Teumsae Ramyun is #1 on the Top Ten Spiciest Instant Noodles of All Time list. But Teumsae; what is that? Teumsae is a well known restaurant chain in Korea. They’re well known for their spicy ways as well!

The back of the packaging.

Big noodle block.

The fiery powder packet!

Here it is – a lot of burning fire awaiting your tastebuds!

The veggie packet.

Quite a bit of veggies in this one.

Finished. I added an egg, some onions, a slice of processed cheese and a bit of roast beef with Krazy Mixed Up Salt on top. As always, I sampled before I added everything. The noodles are thick and chewy. The broth is just plain mean! Yeah – this is the hottest and spiciest stuff out there that I’ve found. I had good reason to put this at #1 on that spiciest ramen list! The veggies are good too. Also, just to let you know how how this stuff is, it’s burning my mouth really good as I eat it with the egg and cheese and onions added – wow! 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 648436100613 – get it here.

Here’s a guy in South Korea who checks out things – one of therm being a Teumsae restaurant!

This is pretty awesome – Korean fusion jazz using a lot of tradition instruments – called Oriental Express

Re-Review: Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo King Cup Kimchi Pot Stew Instant Noodle

Hey rad – a big cup of kimchi noodles! I’m a big fan of kimchi these days and hoping this is just what the doctor ordered today!

Side panels.

A nice looking noodle block.

Powder seasoning.

Lots of the red stuff!

Lots of veggies in the bottom.

I’m sure Korean folks who see this will say big deal, especially since these exist! But recently we got the big jar of kimchi! It takes up a lot of our fridge – and it’s worth it!

Finished. Added some kimchi and some roast beef with a touch of Krazy Mixed Up Salt. The noodles are of that nice soft and buttery type – I must say that in the varieties so far, it sure seems like Paldo varies the types of noodles it puts in its products quite a bit. The broth is great – salty, spicy and has that nice flavor of kimchi. The veggies are great too – re-hydrated very well. This is a great bowl of noodles! 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 648436100385 – get it here.

Meet The Manufacturer: Paldo Promotional Gifts & Samples

I got a couple of large boxes from the folks at Paldo America today! Wonder what’s inside?

Samples to review! Some new ones, some that I’ve already reviewed too. Really looking forward to a week of Korean noodles! Yum!

I think this is a hint! Okay I’ll try using chopsticks again!

I’ve never seen anything like this – it’s a USB drive built into a card! Thanks! Now I can have a backup of all my noodle stuff in my wallet!

Speaking of wallets, they sent me a Paldo card wallet! What’s great about this is that my business cards are usually too tall to fit in my wallet so this is perfect!

They sent some baseball related items too – it looks like Paldo is the big sponsor of South Korea’s Korean Baseball Organization! This is a giant baseball on a little wooden stand! Very cool!

A big sticker!

They also sent a couple ball caps – the one on the left is from the SK Wyverns and the right is the LG Twins.

Finally, this interesting little guy. Not exactly sure what he is though! It’s made of a heavy rubber – my wife thinks it is to hold down the lid of cup noodles. I think he’ll do splendidly at this task!

Thanks go to Moses and all at Paldo for these nice items and great products to review!
