#353: Nissin Top Ramen Chili Flavor Ramen Noodle Soup

So here’s one my lady got for me – chili flavor Top Ramen! So cool – dueling Chili flavor products back to back! Let’s rock!

A single packet. How they can tell this from a different packet is beyond me. Amazing.

Vivid reddish powder. Has a nicevolume too.

I added a couple hard boiled eggs, a sliced up piece of turkey breast lunch meat some Lindberg-Snider Red Baron BBQ seasoning and some Amanfopong Hot Pepper powder. So it was spicy and tasty. I also detected something I really really liked – a hint of cumin. This bound it all together nicely. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. Get it here.

#297: Rhee Bros Assi Brand Wellbeing Hot & Spicy Rice Noodle With Kimchi Flavored Soup

So here’s another Rhee Bros. Assi Brand Wellbeing noodle pack comin atcha.

I really like how these noodles look – very neat and tidy, as is the flavor packet.

Awaiting boiling water and a record on top.

Added two fried eggs as this was breakfast and also threw a pinch of Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning atop the eggs for a little flavor but mostly aesthetics.

Noodles are good – there’s a decent kick of spicyness going on that is absobed by them. The broth is quite spicy hot, and the small amount of vegetables aren’t too bad. I really would’ve liked more veggies though. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars.

#283: Paldo King Cup Kimchi Pot Stew Instant Noodle

So a big hurking bowl noodle. The only time I’ve ever seen anything this size before when not a fresh udon bowl was the Nissin Souper Meals.  Its 2152mg of sodium and should pack a wallop!

Veggies on the left, soup base on the right.

I’m really pleased – looks like a lot of veggies here! Also the soup base has a nice red color to it.

I have a Prodigy CD that I use to hold down the lids on smallish cup noodles and the like but this required a full 12″ disco Tower of Power vinyl.

Here’s the finished product with two eggs intermingled. I like this a lot. The noodles are firmer and chewier than I expected. The broth is nice – a little spice and a bit on kimchi flavor and the veggies are ample. The two eggs top it off quite nicely. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars on this one – nicely done! Get it here.

#282: Doll Instant Noodle Pickled Vegetable Flavour

So we went to 99 Ranch Market yesterday and turns out there were two more kinds of Doll instant noodles they had that I’ve not tried! So here’s the first, pickled vegetable.

Left packet contains powdered flavorings and the right has a thick paste.

So yeah that paste looks a little nasty, but I have found that Doll’s stuff is really good – the Won Ton Shrimp flavour was absolutly stunning.

Two fried eggs and bam! First, I’d like to say that when the noodles are done, they always look very nice – not bleached white but a nice warm rich wheaten yellow color. They are excellent as far as texture and flavor go too.  The broth was perfect – not strong but not weak. It was just right. I added the two fried eggs and all together this was a fantastic bowl of noodles for a early evening nosh while studying for a computer tech certification. Bravo, Doll! 4.25 out of 5.0 stars!
